Ingredients
- – 12-16 ladyfingers
- – 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- – 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- – 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- – 2 cups strong brewed espresso
- – 2 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
- – Cocoa powder or powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine mascarpone, granulated sugar, and cocoa powder.
- In a separate bowl, brew espresso and let it cool.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the espresso for about 3-5 seconds on each side. They should be soft and pliable but not too wet.
- In a large serving dish, create a layer of ladyfingers.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat the layers, starting with the ladyfingers, then the mascarpone mixture, and finally another layer of ladyfingers.
- Dust with cocoa powder or powdered sugar.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
